We Put Words On Paper SXSCongress Literary Celebration

Because the spirit of SXSW compels us!
Because we aren’t rock stars, so we settled on writers!
Because The Pickle Palace back porch is the ideal venue for:

A loud, drunken, messy, rebellious LITERARY CELEBRATION!

The members of We Put Words on Paper will sing carefully crafted phrases in the forms of poetry and short fiction. You’ll laugh. You’ll cry. And if we’re lucky, you’ll feel so inspired, you’ll push us off the stage and perform your own stories.

GUEST WRITER MIRACLE JONES, member of the brilliant lit. collective Fiction Circus (www.fictioncircus.com) from New York, will also share his hilarious, skillful work.

We want YOU to share your talent, too! So bring a journal or crumpled receipt paper with a couple haikus. It’s a literary free for all! (Well, not too free. BYOB. Pretty, pretty please :P)

Come out for words, for booze, for dancing (if not for our freaking awesome back porch and TIRE SWING) to hang with a group of people crazy about truth and beauty and equally crazy about hanging out with you.

Tuesday March 15th
Starting @ 8:30
Location: The Pickle Palace – 204 Pickle Road

NOTE: BYOB (but sharing is caring)

Only the best,
We Put Words on Paper
